EBOLIT FFK
an aqueous solution of resol-type phenol-formaldehyde resinProduct characteristics
EBOLIT FFK is an aqueous solution of resol-type phenol-formaldehyde resin.
Applications
EBOLIT FFK is used in civil engineering as a bonding agent for ceramic insulating materials, especially for glass and mineral fibres.
Product Features

Directions for Use
With regard to product's reactivity, EBOLIT FFK must be transported and stored at temperature between 8 to 15 °C (see further). Before it is processed, the product is diluted with water to desired concentration as stated in manufacturer's instructions. It is possible to mix the product with other ingredients - ammonia water, ammonium salts etc. Impregnated mineral wool is dried up and it gains the desired properties once the contained phenol-formaldehyde resin is hardened. This hardening process takes places at temperature of approximately 200 °C.
Packaging & Storage
EBOLIT FFK is usually delivered by cooled tanker trucks or a cooled tank wagons at recommended expeditionary temperature between 8 to 15 °C. We also recommend to store it at this temperature. Provided the above mentioned temperature conditions are kept, product's shelf life is 1 month.
Transport
EBOLIT FFK is transported by covered vehicles. It is not subject to ADR/RID Regulations.
Warranty
Provided the product is transported and stored in accordance with the above written conditions, its warranty is 1 month from the date it was delivered from a warehouse.
Note
Data about the product characteristics and its processing were obtained by laboratory measurements and application tests. This technical data sheet can provide solely legal advice without any engagements. Use of the product should be always adjusted to specific conditions.
