The product is applied to dry, flat, crackless, well-matured (at least 28 days) concrete insulated from the influences of bottom humidity, devoid of dust and free particles, stains of oils, asphalts, coating masses, fuel or other adhesion-decreasing substances.

Penetration of the base

If the base concrete is satisfactory, it is performed minimally 24 hours before the actual base penetration placing and that by EBOLIT 101 hardened by HARDENER P 11 in weight ratio of 100 weight units of EBOLIT 101 : 1,2 weight units of HARDENER P 11. For the penetration, it is also possible to use EBOLIT 502 hardened by HARDENER P11 in weight ratio of 100:12, or EBOLIT 103 hardened by HARDENER T 175 in weight ratio of 100:150 or, alternatively, EBOLIT 200 AC withHARDENER P 11 in weight ratio of 100:2.The point of penetration is, above all, to strengthen the concrete surface and get the air out of it. After the application of the penetration coating no coherent varnished layer must be evident on the concrete surface. The consumption of the penetration composition is dependent on the quality and absorbency of the base and varies from 300 to 700 g.m^-2. When the penetration is finished it is necessarily required to keep the technological break minimally 24 h prior to the beginning of laying the flooring of EBOLIT 508/XXXX.

Laying of the flooring

EBOLIT 508/XXXX is primarily homogenized properly e.g. by immersion propeller stirrer to heave total settled pigment as well as filler agent. After that and under uninterrupted stirring calculated amount of hardener (HARDENER T 2605) is added. The mixing ratio in weight units is 100 units of EBOLIT 508/XXXX : 30 units of hardener HARDENER T 2605. We recommend, for the faster de-foaming of the mixture, the addition of 0,2 to 0,3 % of silicone defoamer BYK A 525. The composition is mixing for 2 to 3 minutes. Workability time of the mixture after pouring on the base is approx. 20 min. We recommend performing the laying of flooring under the base temperature of minimally 18 ^oC and ambient temperature 20 up to 25 ^oC. Recommended thickness of the layer is 2 to 3 mm, that is, the consumption of Ebolit 508/XXXX is about 3 kg/m².
