KORYNT RUST-REMOVER is an acidic agent containing phosphoric acid.
Applications
KORYNT RUST-REMOVER is a rust-removing agent for iron, steel and cast iron used prior to application of coating composition treatment to their surfaces. It removes rust from an iron surface as well as any surface of iron alloys. It can be applied both by immersion and spraying. Once the rust is removed and the treated surface is rinsed with water, the metal surface is covered by iron complexes that act as short-term corrosion protection.

Directions for Use
KORYNT RUST-REMOVER is used in a non-diluted form, and its application must be always followed by rinsing with water. Operating temperature of the bath is between 15 to 30 °C. Time necessary to remove all rust ranges from 5 to 30 minutes depending on a level of corrosion of the treated material. Rate of rust-removing can be increased by stirring, by increasing temperature of the rust removing bath, or by doing both the aforementioned. Process of rust-removing must be always followed by rinsing with water. For medium-term corrosion protection, it is necessary to use KORYNT 3160.
Packaging & Storage
KORYNT RUST-REMOVER is delivered in 50 l PE cans. Alternatively, it can be delivered in different containers that were discussed and agreed on in advance. Store it in a sealed container in places protected from direct climatic influences. Recommended storage temperature is from +5 to +30 °C. Storing at temperatures below 0 °C does not affect product's application properties.
Transport
KORYNT RUST-REMOVER is transported by covered vehicles in compliance with ADR/RID Regulations.
Warranty
Provided the product is transported and stored in accordance with the above written conditions, its warranty is 6 months from the date it was delivered from a warehouse.
