EBOLIT SIL green is a solution of methyl phenyl silicon resin in toluene containing pigments and filling masses.

Applications

EBOLIT SIL green is used as a high-temperature-resistant coating composition capable to withstand temperatures higher than 500 °C. It is also used as an electrical insulating varnish in process of manufacturing electric motors and of insulating electrical rotational machines intended for use in permanently damp environment. The product does not dry up (it is sticky) without being thermally hardened first. Once hardened, it creates a flexible and partially elastic film.

Directions for Use

The coating can be applied by brush, dipping or spraying. It is usually applied in several layers. When applied, it should be air-dried or dried in a dry kiln. When dried, it should be burnt out at 250 °C for 1 hour or at 260 °C for 40 minutes. The product must be thoroughly stirred prior to its every use.

Packaging & Storage

EBOLIT SIL green is delivered in 5 l or 10 l cans. Alternatively, it can be delivered in different containers that were discussed and agreed on in advance. It should be stored in a sealed container in places protected from direct climatic influences and in compliance with the ČSN 65 0201 norm. Recommended storage temperature is between +5 to +25 °C. Must not be stored in the sun or near heat sources.

Transport

EBOLIT SIL green is transported by covered vehicles in compliance with ADR/RID Regulations.

Warranty

Provided the product is transported and stored in accordance with the above written conditions, its warranty is 12 months from the date it was delivered from a warehouse.
