ALSON NAM is an aqueous solution of sodium alkylbenzen sulphonate with liquefying additives.

 Applications

ALSON NAM is a wetting and washing agent suitable also for boil washing and even as a raw material for manufacture of communal detergents. The product is also used as an industrial preparation for construction basic industry.

Product Features

ALSON NAM is light yellow coloured slightly turbid liquid. It is stable both in commonly acid and alkaline environment. The product is moderately foaming.

 Directions for Use

 1. Textile Industry

1.1. Washing and pre-washing all types of fabrics: dosage – 1 to 3 g/l; optimal temperature – above 60 °C.

1.2. Pressureless boil washing cellulose and mixed materials: dosage - 1 % by weight of the washed material; preferably in alkaline environment.

1.3. Wetting and cleaning goods during dyeing with anionic or dispersed dyes: dosage - 0.5 to 1 g/l

1.4. Soaping vat-dyed, sulphuric and reactive colourations and prints: dosage - 0.5 to 2 g/l

Due to its very good cleaning and anti-redeposition ability, <t0/>ALSON NAM<t1/> is a suitable active substance for formulations of degreasing, washing and cleaning agents especially at higher temperatures or in an alkaline environment.

 3. Mining

The product is used as a wetting agent for circulating liquids to drill holes. Recommended concentration ranges from 1 to 5 g/l with addition of mineral complexing substances (e.g. sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium pyrophosphate).

 4.  Civil Engineering

ALSON NAM finds also good use in manufacture of foam concrete and expanded constructive insulating materials. Adding the product to mixing water, a dosage from 0.3 to 1 % by mass of cement has proven good for further processing.

 5. Other Industries

The product is used for cleaning and wetting solid surfaces of various materials and removing impurities e.g. in glass blowing, engineering, food-processing industry, transport, chemical industry etc. Dosage: 1 to 10 g/l. Cleaning effect can be strengthened by adding from 1 to 5 g/l of alkali.

Packaging & Storage

ALSON NAM is delivered in 200 l PE barrels. Alternatively, it can be delivered in different containers that were discussed and agreed on in advance. Store it in a sealed container in places protected from direct climatic influences. Recommended storage temperature is between +5 to +30 °C. Must not be stored in the sun or near heat sources. Storing at temperatures below 0 °C does not affect product's application properties. In such cases, it is strongly recommended to temper the agent at temperature ranging from 25 to 40 °C followed by homogenization before its use.

Transport

ALSON NAM is transported by covered vehicles. It is not subject to ARD/RID Regulations.

Warranty

Provided the product is transported and stored in accordance with the above written conditions, its warranty is 6 months from the production date.
